** This is a Sneak-Peak preview of the Inner Circle shared for my main free subscribers. Every once in a while, I like to share the weekend version of A Mystic’s Journal. It comes out usually on Saturday and expands mystic information from the usual Tuesday Journal. I hope you find it interesting and join our community! Thanks.
Welcome to The Inner Circle! This Journal is delivered every weekend to paid subscribers (which is always more expanded with class or workshop content) along with the regular Tuesday post. Please feel free to share with others. Thanks.

Be sure to listen to the short podcast (above) about how I first saw Montel Williams’ aura!
Over the years, I’ve taken several classes about auras, how to see them and colors involved (chakra color association in the aura). And I never really saw one - or at least what I thought was an aura.
And I’ll share all that information here for you. But the Montel Williams event is the real reason I’m posting this Inner Circle Journal. It involves easing into seeing it. Letting it sneak up on you, and then all of a sudden - bam! There it is.
So, here is the basic process involved in seeing auras.
How to See Your Own Aura
You’ll do well to start off by seeing your own aura. Probably at first, you will only be able to see the lower sections of the Auric vibrations. After a while with time and practice, you will develop the ability to see the higher vibrations as well.
For this exercise, sit in a quiet room with a white (or soft pastel) wall, preferably at dusk time, when the light is low, and the eyes need to switch to night vision.
Sit down across from the white wall. Your back should be fully supported by a chair, your feet flat on the ground. Connecting to your breath, take a few minutes to relax.
Extend one arm, palm facing the wall, fingers together. Soften your gaze as you look at your hand. Hold this soft gaze for 30 seconds. You will begin to see energy field surrounding your hand. Some say it looks like fuzz or heat waves.
Slowly spread your fingers apart. Continue with the soft gaze looking at your fingers and the space between your fingers. What do you see?
With time and practice, you will begin to see an outline around your hand and around your fingers. After a while, you will start to see colors in this outline.
Patiently observe. Don’t try to see anything or make it happen. Just being here, in the moment, focusing softly on the hand, on the fingers, and the space between the fingers.
With practice, you will be able to do this exercise during daylight or in any other light conditions and eventually without using the white background.
How to See Auras of Others
To do this exercise you will need a partner and a white wall.
Have your partner stand against the white wall, not touching it, just standing very close.
Stand far enough away so you can see them from head to toe, including white space behind them.
Feel your feet firmly planted on the ground and connect with your breath. Close your eyes for a few seconds.
Open your eyes and with a soft focus look at your partner in a way that encompasses their whole body. Relax your vision, see lightly. Gaze softly, passively noticing whatever arises. Just allow whatever arises in the moment.
You will begin to see the energy field around the head and upper body. This is the area of the body that is easiest to see. At first, it will appear colorless, like a heat wave - the same way it was with your hand. With time, you will begin to see colors and you will no longer need a white background.
Seeing auras takes time and dedicated practice. But anyone can learn to detect the human energy field.
And just for fun, this (cellphone) picture was taken of us with friends (the Massie’s) several years ago, at The Grill House in Allegan, Michigan, which is the most haunted restaurant in that state. And it did not disappoint! James Van Praag was presenting that weekend.
