Are You Too Busy? 5 Easy Things for a Spiritual Routine.
Amplify your magical power; an Angel standing in your way?
The more we plan and ‘construct’ our lives, the more we need a respite from it. It gives us vision and perspective. I’ve had to learn this point the hard way (over and over!)
You’re probably a busy and overwhelmed person, looking for a moment in the day to let go. But by letting that moment be a small spiritual practice, you are moving yourself into a special place that allows you to resolve some of the overwhelm.
A Mystic’s Journal is my main-stay publication and I thank all the new subscribers that have recently stopped by! I share mystical events and psychic medium teachings. Always with my ‘edgy’ perspective. Weekly journals are free, plus weekend posts for paid members. Sign up for either right here:
Do You Have a Spiritual Practice?
A spiritual practice is one that allows you to move out of physical constraints and into a realm of present moment. In our everyday world, we tend to get so wrapped up in the physical, that we forget that we are really spiritual beings. That we are merely ‘using’ the third dimension to mauver in the world.
So we need a few minutes (or much more, actually) a day to remember it and play in it and live in it. Does it have to be elaborate? Of course not.
A meaningful ritual can allow you to move past the mind fog and into the realm of soul and spirit.
The more we plan and ‘construct’ our lives, the more we need a respite from it. It gives us vision and perspective.
You’re probably a busy and overwhelmed person, looking for a moment in the day to let go. But by letting that moment be a small spiritual practice, you are moving yourself into a special place that allows you to resolve some of the overwhelm.
You probably do not have two hours every day to dedicate to meditation, prayer and spiritual reading. But I bet you could etch out five minutes here and there throughout the day that can benefit you!
So, what is a spiritual practice that you can incorporate into your life? I just happen to have a few samples right here. Pick and choose a few that feel right for you.
Take a Walk. This is a short meander in your yard before getting into the car in the morning. I love to inspect the foliage and new growth as seasons change. It just gives me a lift.
Mindfulness. During your work break, sit quietly for a moment. Listen to the sounds in the building (or at home). The air system, a floor creaking, muffled voices in another room, even children playing outside or birds chirping. Just paying attention to these sounds will connect you with Spirit.
Contemplate on gratitude while pouring tea or coffee. These few moments can be very special. I always marvel at the Zen-ness of pouring tea.
Attend to your breath. We forget to breathe. But making a few moments before you stand up to do something can be special. Just feel the air come in the inhale. And feel it during the exhale. Just these few moments can ground you for the rest of the day.
Music. It can be listening to it or singing. Just be sure you are very attentive to it. Hear the definition of changes, the spaces between notes.
I hope you find a few spiritual practices here or think of others that will work for you. Let me know what you think!
Where do you keep your 'special, magical' items? You know, the ones used for meditation, spirit connection, energy work.
I have a small pouch on a leather length of rope that I keep my energized items in. (certain crystals, sage leaves, essential oil, etc.) to amplify my meditations/intentions. However, I never wear it. It is tucked away in a special place, not privy to the public. But whenever I am out, and need a boost of energy, or vibrational connection, I visualize my pouch. And am instantly connected with its magical power. You do not have to hold it or wear it to access the energy your special pieces have. We are working with energy, not physical items.
When things get impossibly difficult, what do you do? Is it a sign that you should quit? Or work harder? Think on this: The more difficult your situation becomes, means that you should stand back for a moment. Give yourself room to 'see' what is really happening. Let it rest in your Heart, and then 'feel' your action. Maybe an Angel is standing in your way so you can really stop and look at things through Spirit Eyes.
It is my pleasure to share my knowledge, mystic understanding, and debunking spoof-energies. I hope to expand my reach and ask you to assist me in that endeavor.
