The Wren - My Next Book

Introducing plans for my novel.

As soon as I think things are set in place, another great idea happens. Well, I’d been thinking of it for a while. But now, I’m getting started with it.

Over the years, I have been writing a novel. I have always written non-fiction, so this is a new venture for me. I guess I am intimidated by it. There probably are three huge sections that are blank. I know how it will go, since I dreamt the story years ago. But for some reason, these areas are holding me back.

So, I want to share a section, or excerpt about once a month for you to read. And if you have ideas on how to improve it, or maybe I got something wrong, you can keep me straight.

What’s it about? Two boys as they grow up-separately. They share a spirit flame. (Twin Flame) When they were born, one is of Yin energy and the other is of Yang energy. Together, they came to earth to help make changes. But the wren plays an integral, however, small influencing part.

There is paranormal stuff and metaphysical stuff laced throughout the story. Lots of social change. Mirrors much of what is happening here, now. It’s really a great story. But having you put eyes on it too will help me keep on task.

This is what I think I’ll do: As I am writing (or editing) I will share sections with you. But I will probably only send out once a month. The rest of the month I will continue with regular articles in the Journal. I also will be sharing my writing process and why I am writing it, and maybe some character development thoughts with The Inner Circle (premiere subscription). They will get a little more in-depth information as I go. I like the idea of sharing all of it. (If you want more, please consider upgrading your subscription below.)

A few years ago I started sending out excerpts in my online newsletter (before I started the A Mystic’s Journal Substack. So a few of you will see some of it as familiar. But I have edited and shifted things, so it may be a little different.

All of this I am working on. I hope to write through the blocks (with your help) and have a finished story by the end of the year! Or shortly after. Anyway, I need to write, and finish this project. It means so much to me and will positively influence readers all over the country. I do not necessarily want to change anyone’s mind about our society, and it’s needs. But I want to get people thinking.
