So, one year ago I wrote my first post on Substack. I wasn’t really sure how it would go, but I have enjoyed it thoroughly. And intend to continue!
This last year had been a rough one for me. I had several serious medical problems that set me back big time. But at the same time, I kept writing. If I knew there would be a few weeks I couldn’t focus, I wrote articles ahead of time and set them up on a schedule. It all worked out. Sometimes, it was just a squeak, but I continued on my Journal.
And I am feeling much more human now. (and my hair is growing in too.)
So, at the time I started this journey, I transferred all the old emails from various places to Substack. After a while, I realized many of these old emails were either not used anymore or non-existent. People change computers and do not use the same emails. I decided to clear out the old ones that did not work.
As of now, I have 422 subscribers! (yeah me!) Nine (9) of those are in My Inner Circle (premiere subscribers at $5/mo.) I am so excited to have all of you lovely peeps following me! And will continue to write outrageously about meta-stuff and grow more folks interested in A Mystic’s Journal.
Just in case you want to read the first post from last year, here it is just below.
At first, I was worried I couldn’t find enough topics to write about. But one thing leads to another. As I am writing or scrolling through Facebook or Twitter (Let’s say I play at Twitter, still haven’t figured it out yet, lol.), I find a meme —-
— or a short statement by one of My Friends and it gets me thinking. So, I have a wealth of information at hand; I just have to harvest it.
That brings me to a question I like to ask once in a while:
Do you have a topic you’d like me to address?
If so, please comment to this Journal and let me know. I keep a short list of ideas from students and associates that I can draw from. Please share with me your thoughts.

Recently I have been shifting the way I practice spirituality. I used to sit quietly each night, meditating. I received information from my guides that is useful in my life. Since I stopped giving reading-consultations, my spiritual life has changed too. I spend more time communing with Wind, Fire and Storms. They have energies that are awesome.
But I also find myself going back to old books I studied years ago. The World’s Greatest Salesman by Og Mandino, Three Magic Words by U.S. Andersen. I also find myself yearning to work jigsaw puzzles and paint by numbers.
So that is where my meditation had shifted. I do more contemplating while working puzzles. I may even return to knitting.
How do you meditate? What do you do to honor your spiritual practice?
Hopefully we will be together for a long time sharing our Mystical Metaphysical World!
For now, I anticipate the Next Year of writing as a wealth of meta-stuff coming your way. Much love to you, and Thanks!
