Intention

I’m so happy to have such beautiful people here with me! A Mystic’s Journal is my main-stay publication, and I thank all the new subscribers that have recently stopped by! My appreciation continues for all who have walked this path with me along the way and from the inception of this Journal!

A Chance to Evolve

This month is one for progressing and evolving. So, take your “I wonder if…” and secure a definite plan to at least start the project. Who knows? It just might work! But you will never know, if you don’t try.

Too many times we tend to daydream about what we would like to do. But always temper that dream with self-doubt and unworthiness. This month you have the chance to change that. You have a chance to evolve.

Think in a progressive way. Let your intentions become reality. I knew a young woman that hated the word “intend”. She said her mother always promised things for the family, but never got around to doing them. Then she would say, “But I always intended to do it!” That is letting negative thinking take over your dream (intention). You are a more powerful person than that.

Use forward thinking, become self-directed, and take a leadership position once in a while. Direct your burst of energy to break free from stuffy, societal beliefs, to share your thoughts and dreams.

Action

Allow yourself to speak your own truth. Take small opportunities to make small changes, always evolving in your creative thoughts and actions. Consider a hobby in painting, singing, or writing.

Do not judge what you do, just allow it to happen.

Your Mindful Moment

Creativity is special for you now. Open the throat chakra through meditations and visualize the cobalt blue color. Sit quietly. Become aware of your breathing. After you feel relaxed, visualize the picture of the blue chakra here in your mind’s eye.

Have the picture, or something else that has that color of blue in it close to you. If you have trouble visualizing the color, peek your eyes open for a moment as look at it. Then close them again.

As the color becomes visible, begin to see it expanding, and becoming larger. As it becomes larger, know that your creativity and intentions expand too. Be in that state of awareness as long as it feels right.

YIN/YANG Question and Answer Forum

Q/ My grandchild who is 7 years old is starting to display psychic abilities. Her parents (my husband’s family) do not believe in psychic abilities. How can I encourage her without interfering in the parents’ beliefs? Am I wrong to try and teach her?

A/ This can be a very sensitive situation. First, you must honor the parents’ wishes. Do not engage in teaching her or offering to help her in this regard. We all have our own belief systems, and you would never want someone else trying to change how you feel. But, if your grandchild tells you things about dreams or psychic hits, premonitions, etc., listen to her. Pay attention to her. Do not ask questions, but just hold a space for her to feel comfortable talking about it. When she gets older and can make decisions for herself, she will remember your interest and ask questions. Then you can help her.
