This is the free version of A Mystic’s Journal. Thanks for reading! It would mean a lot if you’d share it on social media or recommend it to a friend! We also depend on paid/premium subscriptions! (Premium readers get bonuses)
Over the years I have learned so much by being a psychic medium. As I’ve been thinking of it, I thought I’d share some of them with you. Here is a short list of some things I’ve learned.
Not everybody will honor what you do! (ouch). True enough. Although we have spent years honing our psychic medium craft, many people will consider it woo-woo and not legitimate at all. Don’t pay any attention to those folks. Take pride in what you do, no matter what it is.
Taking a walk in nature and practicing mindfulness keeps my spiritual connections open and flowing. I am open to all around me and to my guides.
Keep a five-minute spirit journal — writing intuitively. I carry around a moderate sized journal (8”/5” - or there abouts). I seem to receive intuitive information (and ideas about writing) at the oddest times! Instead of trying to remember it, I jot it down. Then I review the notes over the past week and incorporate what feels right into my life (or work).
Choose a simple mantra to ground and center yourself. Mantras help us direct intention. The simpler it is the easier it is to say. “I am moving in the correct direction.” Make an effort to continue saying it until the time comes where it is on your breath and in your heart.
Jealousy abides worldwide. I was totally flabbergasted when I realized that not all Spirit Mediums were spiritual. That’s right. You do not have to be a spiritual person to become a medium. And more often than not, these particular mediums are afraid that other mediums are rivals and might take away their clients. (Really? I come from a place that means there is enough to go around — a spiritual concept.) So you have to always watch those around you that might be jealous.
Once you connect with your spirit guide, build on that rapport. The stronger your connection and familiarity with your guide, the stronger your communication will be. You will have the confidence to carry on.
If you do not feel well, do not try to give psychic/medium readings. Wait until your energy balances out and you are well.
